Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Sybase DBA to join their team. As a key member of the database administration team, you will be responsible for the operational support, maintenance, planning, design, implementation, and enhancement of over 100 Sybase Dataservers regionally.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with business users, application support engineers, and other infrastructure groups. Understanding of components of technology infrastructure, different working environments, and operational culture is also required.

• Sybase IQ
• Sybase OpenClient
• SPLUNK
• Python and Perl scripting
• Ansible Automation
• Foglight Monitoring
• Bradmark Surveillance DB (performance analysis and management of the repository and client installs)
• Autosys Job Scheduling (JIL scripting)
• ITSM (Change Incident Management)
• Knowledge of Oracle, MS-SQL Server, and MongoDB
• Knowledge of ITIL Best practices
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
