Auckland, New Zealand (On-Site)
Responsibilities
Providing effective, reliable, and timely administrative support for assigned Business Applications
Provide daily support for AIFS, business applications and resolving related technical issues
Provide daily support for AIFS related hardware and operating systems across multiple environments
Lead, as a subject matter expert to provide advice as and when required for AIFS applications and infrastructure
Provide daily administration support for users of AIFS and other assigned applications
Running reports and publishing to a central location on regular basis or as requested by the Customers
Monitor and manage the security, capacity, load and performance of AIFS and other major Business Systems
Monitor and manage the interfaces and associated log files between AIFS, Devices and other major Business Systems
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
5yrs+ demonstrated experience as a System Administrator supporting over 100 users in an enterprise environment
Demonstrable troubleshooting skills in a technically complex environment
Linux Server experience would be highly advantageous
Exposure to HPE Hyperconverged infrastructure technologies and VMware systems
Networking and fault finding experience
Experienced in IT service delivery industries that focus on proactively engaging in positive customer outcomes
Must undergo Police Security Clearance
Must be willing to travel to other Hitachi Rail GTS NZ sites on an infrequent basis for relief manning, support, or training courses
Must hold a current Drivers Licence
Desirable
MCSE or equivalent certification
Exposure to automation tools such as Puppet, and monitoring systems such as New Relic and Papertrail
Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes.
Experience in conducting training sessions for small groups of application users
Knowledge of SQL programming language
You must have a valid Work Permit or Visa to be considered for the role
