The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a System Analyst to join our Finance and HR Systems team at the University of Bristol. Working at one of the most successful universities in the UK you will utilise your Unit 4 Business World/Agresso experience supporting and developing the MyERP solution; our platform used for Finance, HR and payroll operations.
Based within the Finance Division, Finance and HR Systems play an essential role to ensure that key business and operational processes are maintained and enhanced to support the changing needs of the University. Made up of 4 sub teams, we deliver dedicated user support, application development, reporting, and training for the University’s MyERP System and other smaller applications.
As System Analyst you will work in a sub team of 5, providing 3rd line application support for MyERP, configuring changes, delivering data solutions, providing fixes for tickets, while continually delivering excellent customer service.
The University runs a blended working policy with great flexibility. You will need to come into the office a minimum of once a week, on Thursdays.
What will you be doing?
• Assessing day to day requirements around fixes and supporting a variety of contacts such as super users, product owners and 3rd parties to make changes and resolve complex issues.
• You will use your technical knowledge to design, develop and test solutions and configuration changes within MyERP and other University applications.
• Providing 3rd line technical support to meet service level agreements and maintain excellent customer service.
• Collaborating with your team, as well as other stakeholders both internally and externally.
You should apply if
• You hold a professional qualification or degree in computing or have vocational experience which demonstrates equivalent professional development.
• You understand service management including incident, problem, change and configuration management.
• Your oral and written communication skills are sharp in relaying technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• You have configuration experience of Unit 4 Business World/Agresso in a large organisation.
