Your Role and Responsibilities As Oracle Exadata Database Administrator, you are responsible for installation, configuration & managing database server and applying security patches & other Patches for upgrading versions of oracle database on different platforms.

Implement distributed queuing on various platforms and clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks
Work on triggering and work on both channel and application triggering by configuring channel initiators and trigger monitors
Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc
Create physical/logical standby database and performing switch-over and fail-over
Drive performance and tuning, monitoring the performance using tools
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Minimum 6 years' experience in IT Industry
• Proficient in Exadata administration, Database optimization and tuning, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) administration, Oracle Golden Gate
• Expertise in general Oracle Database management
• Working knowledge of database upgrade, patching, backup and restore, performance tuning
• Proven ability in Oracle Linux Administration and exposure to ZFS Storage Management
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle versions 10g and 11g in a UNIX environment a must
• Proven programming experience in PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting
• Solid understanding in NFS configuration administration Thorough understanding of the technology stack Operating systems, middleware, storage systems, applications, networking and security, and architecture
• Experience in Oracle VM Manager LDAP Administration
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• Expert in Exadata Administration including Cell Storage, Compute Node, and Switches. DBA will be leading the planning and migration of architecture to Exadata Cloud at Customer.
• A strong candidate to rapidly troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure, implement scalable solutions, all while managing multiple requirements. Deep knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and strong performance tuning skills is a must. Experience and knowledge of Exadata platform is a must.
• Ability to gather requirements, assess and recommend solutions to ensure High Availability and stability.
• Must have strong written and verbal skills.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 environment and participate in on-call rotation.
• Expertise in Planning, Implementing, and Migration of mission-critical databases.
• Minimum of years Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple Oracle databases for performance critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platform
• Experience in Oracle 11g/12c Architecture, Configuration, and Administration
• Strong experience in backup/recovery, strong knowledge of RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
• Excellent SQL and DB performance tuning skills.
• Strong experience using OEM 13c
• Ability to mentor other DBAs and work well in a group environment.
• Providing DBA support to MultipleCluster, Non - cluster and ASM Database in production, development and Testing Servers on Linux Environments.
• Handful of experience in Oracle Installations, Upgrades, Patches, Critical Patch Updates (CPU) in various environment ranging from +i/10g/11g/12c.
• Extensive experience in configuring and implementing ASM
• System administration, Oracle Exadata Problem analysis & resolution,
