Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating table saw and machinery to cut materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Saw Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain table saw and cutting equipment to produce high-quality cuts of materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements.
Measure and mark materials using tools such as calipers and measuring tapes before cutting.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed while operating machinery and handling materials.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Fabricate components as needed based on project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse safety guidelines.
Skills
Proficiency in operating CNC machines.
Experience with forklifts for material handling is a plus.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading technical drawings is advantageous.
Background as a carpenter or in woodworking is beneficial.
Strong skills in using power tools effectively and safely.
Ability to fabricate parts accurately based on specifications.
Knowledge of machining processes is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
