Tactical Security Guard

What you will do

Provide a welcoming and professional presence at all entry points and throughout the premises
Deter possible external entries through observation and outstanding customer service.
Ability to make arrest and immediate decision
Patrol designated areas to detect any suspicious activity.
Assist customers and staff with courtesy and discretion, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
Enforce company and store policies and procedures to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
Collaborate with store management and fellow team members to address security concerns effectively.
Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
Exercise tact and common sense in all interactions, handling situations with discretion and professionalism.
Document security violations and complete incident reports promptly.
Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
Quickly respond to security and safety violations, property damage and alarms.
Skills

A Valid Ontario Security License
Must have Use of Force certifications
Prior customer service experience is required.
Impeccable grooming and presentation, including uniform
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with diverse individuals.
Superior observational skills.
Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
Ability to work without close supervision
Must be willing and comfortable to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift

Experience:

Tactical Security Guard : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Class G Licence (preferred)
Use of Force certification (preferred)
Willingness to travel:

100% (preferred)
