What will your typical day look like?

Who will you be working with?
Our supportive and diverse team has 2 interesting areas of work:

Business Tax – We focus on delivering a comprehensive, practical approach to tax planning that helps corporate, international and privately owned businesses meet their worldwide tax and statutory responsibilities while identifying planning opportunities and providing specialised services to achieve tax efficiencies.
Private Tax & Advisory – Utilise your commerce skills to provide advice to some of Australia’s most successful privately owned companies, high net worth families & individuals. An emphasis on strong client relationships is critical in assisting clients with finance function support, commercial advisory, tax planning and structuring and accounting and tax compliance services.

We know that as a student, you may not necessarily have a ton of work experience, and that’s okay! At Deloitte, we recognise potential and want to help you grow more than anything else. As a bright, ambitious and incredibly hard-working student, you’ll also:

Have completed a relevant degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Law
Be an excellent communicator – articulate and possess strong writing skills
Love being part of a team and working collaboratively
Be naturally curious and proficient at problem-solving and possess strong analytical and numeracy skills
You are an Australian/New Zealand Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Australia
