Teacher (English & Social Studies)

Job Summary:

The English and Social Studies Teacher at Vissanji Academy will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies to students in grades +-12. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback to students and parents on academic progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:


• Teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to students in grades +-12.


• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.


• Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and other forms of evaluation.


• Provide feedback to students and parents on academic progress, including progress reports and report cards.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials.


• Participate in school-wide activities, including faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

Educational Qualification:

BA / MA & B.Ed (Mandatory)

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in the Secondary Section of an ICSE School.
The candidate must be fluent in English, possess good subject knowledge, and be confident in their approach.
