Homeroom Teacher – Glenn Arbour Academy (Burlington, ON)
Start Date: August 2026

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Homeroom Teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to making a meaningful impact both in and beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging, grade-appropriate lessons aligned with Ontario curriculum expectations
Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning styles and abilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date gradebooks and long-range plans
Communicate regularly with families and post updates on Edsby
Write report cards and participate in parent-teacher conferences
Actively participate in school events and community-building activities
Lead one in-school club during the academic year
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
Qualifications

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and valid OCT certification
Experience teaching in a private or independent school is considered an asset
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
Ability to support diverse learners through differentiated instruction
Commitment to professional development and a collaborative team approach
Enthusiastic about contributing to school life and culture
