Teacher of English (Fixed Term Contract)

Are you a passionate and inspiring English teacher ready to for the next chapter? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teacher of English to join our school on a fixed term contract from 12th August to 3rd October 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning preparing and delivering creative, inspiring and effective lessons that align with the school’s curriculum
Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential
Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Promoting a love of literature, language, and creative writing
Essential requirements:

PGDE or Qualified teacher status with a specialisation in English
GTCS registered
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for teaching and a commitment to high standards
Desirable qualities:

Experience in curriculum development and assessment
