Fixed Term, 0.We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who wants to join a supportive department, with Geography being a popular choice at GCSE. This post is suitable either for a teacher who is currently in training (ECT) or someone who would like to widen their experience. This post offers real opportunities for professional and career development.

Geography is taught as a specific subject at KS3 and KS4. GCSE Geography is a popular option and is taught in mixed ability classes, with all students following the Eduqas B specification. During the Summer Term all Year 10 GCSE Geography students visit Dorset, to practise the skills and to collect the data required to support their Unit 3 examination. This year we have built skills development and analysis throughout the course.

As part of a whole-school approach, PSHCEe develops the qualities and attributes students need to thrive, both as individuals and members of society. We have a high quality provision of PSHCEe at Park which has been recognised nationally.
Teaching this subject provides an invaluable opportunity to further develop your pastoral provision as a tutor, in addition to growing professionally by participating in the delivery of our outstanding provision.
Park High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. We are required to conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates in accordance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance in order to identify any incidents or concerns which are publicly available online.
