Job description
Teaching Assistant (Level 4) at Oaklands Primary School
A dynamic and enthusiastic individual is sought to join our school community as a Teaching Assistant (Level 4).
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the Foundation Phase pedagogy, with excellent classroom practice that inspires and leads children to meet their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with teachers to deliver high-quality education to students in the Foundation Phase.
Provide support to students who require additional assistance, promoting inclusion and equality of opportunity.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and governors to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children in a primary school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member.
High expectations of achievement and commitment to raising standards.
