Teaching Assistant
Location: The New Forest
Salary: £12.82 to £14 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Are you eager to support students and make a meaningful impact in education? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a school in The New Forest. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with experienced educators and contribute positively to students' academic progress.
Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Assist in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Provide individual support to students requiring additional help, adapting materials and interventions as needed.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behaviour.
• Support teachers in assessing and recording student progress to inform teaching practices.
• Participate in extracurricular activities to support students' development and engagement.
Requirements
• A degree in any subject or relevant experience with transferable skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to education.
• Flexibility to work across different subjects and teaching styles.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be prepared to apply through GSL Education.
