Technical Business Analyst
Location : New York (remote to start)
Position Type : 06 months plus Contract
Rate : DOE
Start Date : Immediately
US Citizen, Green card, GC EAD and H4 EAD accepted
Job description
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Demonstrate ability to work within regulatory and compliance guidelines including accordance to HIPAA
• Experience in SAS, SQL, and AWS servers and databases
• Experience in creating, editing and executing queries using SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL Server applications, and Alteryx Designer
• Demonstrated ability to create visualizations and presentations with hands on experience in Tableau Desktop, PowerPoint (Themes, animations, transitions), Word (templates, outlining, themes, and embedded objects) and Excel (advanced functions and formulas, pivot tables, visual presentation)
• Experience in creating, reverse-engineering and maintaining Excel/Access VBA application
• Experience in creating, editing, and maintaining contents in SharePoint platform
• Experience in assessing and communicating complex business requirements in a manner understandable by all levels of the organization; including technical and non-technical staff, testing teams, and business stakeholders
• Ability to diagnose system issue, engage data validation, and provide quality assurance testing
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and minimum supervision with excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Agile Experience (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework)
• Version One Software and/or Kanban Software Experience
• Experience in hosting meetings, facilitating analysis sessions, and delivering presentations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience and knowledge in Claims Operations, Enrollment & Billing, Members Services, or Providers Operations
• Knowledge of other programming/reporting applications (i.e. Visual Basic Studio, QlikView, Cognos, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge and relevant work experience within the healthcare industry (such as a managed care organization, commercial health insurance plans, hospital, etc.)
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs and reimbursement methodologies
• Knowledge of healthcare claims processing practices in a managed care setting
• Hands-on experience with rules-based table and systems (i.e. PowerMHS, Biz Talk, PEGA Preprocessor, Salesforce CRM, etc.)
• Knowledge of Macess or other workflow systems
• Experience with Business Process modeling
• Ability and willingness to handle increasing workload and responsibility.
