When you work for us, you are using Ookla data and insights to advance our mission of better connectivity for all.

The ideal candidate has successfully led and independently owned the lifecycle of a highly complex enterprise-level software project focused on delivering data collection, data pipelines, including data lake and production-ready data sets. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and successful delivery using technical project management best practices. You act as the point person for multiple projects to ensure visibility, accountability and deliverables are communicated to Sales, Executives and other stakeholders. You have deep experience communicating high-level statuses to Executives and highly-detailed work items with Engineering and Product Managers. You are a detail-oriented person with exceptional communication, analytical and abstract thinking skills. You work well with others and are able to “influence without authority” in order to successfully deliver multiple projects on time.

You will work cross-functionally with teams in the USA, Dublin, and Helsinki, collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to ensure projects are scoped accurately, dependencies are tracked, and deliverables are met on time.

What You'll Do:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders
Align priorities across teams with Agile Coaches and Product Managers
Facilitate standups, refinement, planning, and roadmap estimation meetings
Lead project status meetings to track progress, identify roadblocks, and manage risks
Build and maintain clear and consistent communication through status reports and Jira Dashboards
Contribute to the Project Management Standards of Excellence
Provide project visibility to Sales, Executives, and other stakeholders
Develop and manage Jira Plans, including timelines, dependencies, and Product Marketing deliverables
Conduct regular project reviews, gather feedback, and ensure timely follow-ups

Attend cross-functional meetings and communicate changes, risks, or blockers effectively
Expectations for Success:
Project plans are aligned with the company roadmap, with well-defined milestones
Delivery timelines and risks are proactively managed and communicated
Jira is used effectively to visualize and track project progress
Teams are supported and unblocked, with issues resolved or escalated promptly
Executive and team-level stakeholders stay informed through clear reporting and updates

Requirements:
We care more about your capability and experience than checking every box. If you’ve managed similar challenges, we want to hear from you.
3-5 years of experience managing enterprise-level software projects
Proficiency in Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence, and Google Workspace
