Job Summary: Kiwa Building Products have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Reviewer to join our growing team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the Certification 3-Year Renewal Process, from administration and commercial preparation to review and delivery. Additionally, the role will support internal technical reviews of draft Agrement certification documents to ensure products are fit for purpose in compliance with national Building Regulations. About the role:
To facilitate the delivery of the BDA Agrément® process according to the current Scheme requirements, the role holder will be expected to:
• thoroughly review documents of live projects
• complete all work within specified timescales
• liaise with colleagues (e.g. auditors, technical project managers etc)
• challenge and support as appropriate where best practice is identified and/or implemented
• keep up to date with the appropriate regulatory requirements and codes of practice
• support the Operations Manager in the delivery and maintenance of the team’s quality management system, as well as the Technical Library (e.g. updates to Building Regulations)
From time to time, the role holder may be required to attend seminars and conferences to represent the organisation, write short technical reports and contribute towards trade publications.
Do you have what it takes?:
• A qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent work experience
• Excellent attention to detail, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, persistence, accuracy, practicality, reliability
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work and reach targets set independently (Self Starting)
• Relevant experience of managing customers
• Previous experience of technical document writing, editing and reviewing
• Efficient computer user with Microsoft Office experience
• Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
• Knowledge of construction products and processes would be beneficial

• £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
