Are you a problem-solving enthusiast with a passion for technology and a knack for customer service? If so, BEACON India wants you to join our team as a Technical Support Engineer - CAE.
As a Technical Support Engineer - CAE at BEACON India, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers who use our Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software. You will be the go-to person for our customers when they encounter technical issues or have questions about how to best utilize our software.
Your main goal will be to ensure that our customers are able to make the most out of our CAE software and have a positive experience using it. You will need to be able to troubleshoot technical issues, provide guidance on software functionality and usage, and help our customers resolve any challenges they may encounter.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat
• Troubleshoot technical issues with our CAE software and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with our development and product teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
• Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs to help customers resolve common challenges
• Assist with software installations, updates, and patches for customers
• Conduct training sessions and webinars to help customers better understand and utilize our CAE software
• Act as a liaison between customers and our internal teams to relay feedback and feature requests
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably in the software industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with CAE software and an understanding of engineering principles
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
