India Job Description:
Tech Mahindra is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist with expertise in Routing and Switching and proficiency in reading logs on Wireshark and performing trace routes.
As a member of our support team, you will be responsible for assisting our enterprise customers with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional technical support to customers through various communication channels. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues related to routing and switching. 3. Analyze network logs using Wireshark to identify and diagnose problems. 4. Perform trace routes and network tests to pinpoint and address network bottlenecks. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt and accurate issue resolution. 6. Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and solutions. 7. Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues. 8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve support capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in international voice support, preferably in a technical environment. 3. In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS). 4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting network logs using Wireshark. 5. Should have an open mind to learn more technologies (Win Server, Linux, AWS/Azure) 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. 7. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex network issues. 8. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. +.
