We are a small but growing services provider in the UK and are looking to recruit a technical support person to help with our customers all over the world with a range of technical questions.

The role involves speaking with customers on the phone and via email. English language is essential and previous service experience in similar roles would be advantageous.

Are you able to deal with challenging questions and able to give clear and concise information?

Duties:

- Provide technical support to customers by phone and email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customers.
- Hand-hold customers setting up software or hardware remotely.
- Suggest and maintain improvements to internal and external service documentation.
- Monitor internal service monitoring and report issues confirmed as service affecting.
- Deal with third parties involved such as softaware vendors and service providers.

Skills required, thumbs up:

- Ability to speak with customers via phone and email.
- Tech-based experience and past experience with web hosting, email, broadband or voice (telephony) services.
- UK based

Skills beneficial, double thumbs up:

- Knowledge of HTML, MySQL, IMAP, SMTP, FTTC/P, VoIP and many other 4 letter acronyms.
- Self-starter and learner.

We are looking to fill this position urgently and to hit the ground running

Pay: £18,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
