We are seeking a Technical Writer/Product Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field, who is interested in pursuing a career in technical documentation and product coordination with project management responsibilities.
This role combines responsibilities for creating and maintaining technical documentation, coordinating product development, managing project tasks, and ensuring comprehensive and accurate records. The candidate will work closely with various teams to support our product development and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Documentation Creation and Maintenance:
• Develop and maintain user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), qualification documents, bill of materials (BOM), design considerations, parts purchase orders, job work orders, and other technical documents.
• Ensure all documents adhere to relevant standards and guidelines, are clear, concise, and up-to-date.
• Review and revise existing documents as necessary.
• Product Coordination:
• Collaborate with, product development, quality, and sales teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support product design and development by identifying opportunities for improvement in documentation processes and tools.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure accurate product configuration and information based on inquiries.
• Project Management Support:
• Assist with planning and scheduling tasks, defining project scope and objectives, and tracking and reporting project progress.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks, managing expectations.
• Identify and escalate issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
• Certification Documentation:
• Ensure all necessary documents are in place for obtaining and maintaining certifications.
• Work with relevant teams to gather, organize, and submit documentation required for certifications.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in documentation, tracking, and checklist processes and implement enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the documentation strategy.
