At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).

Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the role

Are you passionate about empowering people through technology? Do you thrive on translating complex technical changes into clear, actionable insights? If so, we're looking for a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our Team Member Technology Experience (TMTX) team as our Technology Proficiency & Adoption Specialist. This role sits in the Planning, Assurance, Insights and Delivery team (PLAID) within the larger Client Experience & Technology team (CXT).

In this role, you will collaborate on initiatives to ensure ATB team members (ATBers) are not just comfortable, but proficient and empowered with the technology they use every day. You'll help bridge the gap between complex technological changes and the practical, day-to-day experiences of our team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and seamless adaptation.

More than technology management, this role is about building meaningful connections and creating impactful experiences. With empathy, you'll contribute to championing clear communication, proactive education, and accessible self-serve support, ensuring every ATBer feels supported and empowered on their technology journey.

Why this Role Matters

The Technology Proficiency & Adoption Specialist role is pivotal in empowering ATB team members through technology by contributing to a collaborative team and supporting effective knowledge management and communication within the organization.

Strategic Contribution: You'll contribute to strategic planning by advocating for ATB team member needs, collaborating with team members and leadership to shape technology experiences that drive business success.

Collaboration and Support: You'll actively collaborate across teams, contributing to a positive, supportive environment where team members thrive, and seek coaching from expert Experience Strategists.

Team Member Experience Focus: You'll support improvements in technology experiences by leveraging data insights and anticipating team member needs, ensuring our technology empowers daily work and delivers clear value to the organization.

Expertise and Problem-Solving: You'll provide support and contribute to creative solutions for technology challenges by identifying connections among workstreams and understanding their broader implications, with guidance from senior team members.
