Internal Telesales Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business as an Internal Business Developer.
About the Company:
Our client is a leading distributor of Solar PV, Energy Storage Systems, Batteries, and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers. They sell to installers across the UK, making this a business-to-business sales role.
The company offers market-leading products and added value, including a training academy that provides product and industry training, meet-the-manufacturer events, and sessions to help installers understand changing incentives, policy changes, and technical advancements.
Role Description:
We are looking for a confident and motivated Internal Business Developer to work alongside a successful sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the business's growth plan, helping to make appointments for external sales reps, re-activate dormant accounts, and open new customer accounts.
The successful candidate will be comfortable contacting potential clients via email, phone, and social media, and able to accurately identify and qualify opportunities.
Demonstrate previous experience in internal sales, with a focus on telephone sales and cold calling.
Promote products, services, and training to prospective customers through various marketing activities.
Build strong relationships with potential clients and dormant accounts.
Use computers and CRM databases to record sales activity.
Potential to attend company exhibitions and events.
Excellent social media, networking, and marketing skills.
Accurate data entry on the company CRM system.
Identify and discuss new business opportunities with Account Managers and the Sales Director.
The role will be based in Elland, where you will have the opportunity to work from our office.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Previous experience in internal sales, particularly telephone sales and cold calling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to promote products and services effectively.
Proficiency in using computers and CRM databases.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
