About the Role:
As a Test Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting and testing Northpower’s equipment in line with statutory and safety requirements. This is a hands-on role that involves extensive travel across New Zealand, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining safe operations for our contracting teams nationwide.

Perform inspection and testing of equipment to meet regulatory and safety standards
Record results and update equipment details in Q-Pulse
Liaise with regional coordinators and external service providers to schedule testing
Promote safe practices and maintain Northpower property and testing tools
Identify opportunities for process or safety improvements

About You:
Registered NZ Electrician (EWRB) with a current practicing licence
Hold a class 1 full NZ driver’s licence
Strong organisational and planning skills
Clear communicator – both written and verbal
A positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and customer service
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across NZ
