A bit about the role:
The role of a Business Trainee is interesting and varied and provides a great foundation to business processes and experience in many areas of how a local council operates. A core part of this role is to prepare, collate, record and maintain information relating to council business and support our Roads and Drainage Team to deliver their outcomes.
In a trainee, we look for:
Good communication skills
Someone who enjoys working on a computer
Good organisation skills and attention to detail
What you can learn:
Assist in the preparation of documents
Create, input and retrieve data using MS Office
Operator office equipment
Update and maintain databases
Assist coordination of outdoor and indoor team
The qualification completed in this role will depend on the applicant.
A Certificate III in Business (Administration) is a one (1) year training/employment term.
A certificate IV in Business (Administration) is a two (2) year training/employment term.
