We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Trainer to deliver our Advanced Events Management training course. This internationally recognised course is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the event management industry. The Trainer will be responsible for preparing participants to confidently plan, execute, and manage a variety of special events while ensuring they are well-prepared to pass the CSEP certification exam.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions covering the full event lifecycle, from planning to post-event evaluation.
• Facilitate learning on industry best practices in event coordination, vendor management, and logistical planning.
• Teach financial management skills, including budgeting, cost-saving strategies, and financial accountability for events.
• Provide hands-on guidance for participants to develop contingency plans and manage on-site emergencies.
• Prepare participants for the CSEP certification exam with tips, sample questions, and case study exercises.
• Share real-world insights through case studies and practical problem-solving scenarios.
• Foster leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in participants to help them navigate the fast-paced event management landscape.
Requirements
• Extensive experience in event management, with a proven track record in planning and executing diverse events such as corporate functions, weddings, exhibitions, and public gatherings.
• Strong public speaking and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
• Familiarity with budgeting, vendor negotiation, risk management, and health and safety compliance in event settings.
• Experience delivering corporate training, workshops, or certification preparation courses.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current or prior CSEP certification.
• Experience using technology tools for event registration, budget tracking, or logistics coordination.
• Background in teaching or mentoring in the event management field.
