Training Coordinator - Laverton, Melbourne
As the Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both the Planning and Operations teams by delivering a robust onsite training program.

You'll ensure team members are equipped with the skills, knowledge and tools they need to work safely, efficiently and confidently - all while contributing to workforce flexibility through smart rostering and cross-training initiatives.

What You'll Do

Facilitate engaging new-hire orientation, site tours, and classroom-based training

Deliver and coordinate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training

Own and manage the training matrix, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards

Process onboarding documentation and manage team member availability within rosters

Support floor trainers and help develop a new cross-training matrix

Monitor and report on training compliance across all departments (e.g. VOCs, standard work)

Coordinate refresher sessions and support training needs analysis

Assist in the creation of standard work instructions and support continuous improvement efforts

Partner with the Planning Manager on job rotation programs for front-line workers

Support operations in resourcing and agency engagement

What You Bring

Essential:

Experience in a training coordination or similar role, preferably within warehousing, logistics, or FMCG

Strong communication, organisation and influencing skills

Confidence delivering training to both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with MHE, WMS, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach

Preferred:

Experience working with external staffing or resource agencies

Power BI or dashboard creation

Exposure to warehouse planning and process development
