Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining and growing transactional sales through cold-calling, order entry, troubleshooting problems and ensuring accurate communication. This person works closely with the Sales Team, Production, vendors and customers.
• Enter all sales orders and ensure accurate customer information
• Interact with and respond to customer inquiries
• Generates new sales through regular up-selling and cold-calling

An Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualify new, active, and inactive accounts as transactional prospects
• Knowledge of steel products
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail with ability to accurately enter/maintain information
• Strong sales skills, including cold-calling
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or commensurate experience
• 2+ years of related experience in a sales setting; steel-service center a plus
• Setting: Office, Warehouse, Warehouse and Office
