Position Summary:
Our position is a Translation & Interpretation Agent to perform a translation accurately and efficiently from Spanish into English, and from English into Spanish on documents and statements.

About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be a professional in translation, a BA in Modern Languages, or related fields, to be in charge of proofreading and editing the translated content for guaranteeing its accuracy and consistency, as well as to correct any typographical, lexical and grammatical mistakes.
Computer skills, strongly detail-oriented, organized, and responsible, with a genuine ability to spot and fix their own mistakes and positively accept any feedback are required to improve your performance on and on.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Translator and/or Interpreter. It’s a PLUS!
Responsibilities:
Read or listen to material in one language, determine understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and translate it into the target language, making sure to preserve the original meaning.
Translate online media, videos, and television.
Consult with experts in the matter and colleagues to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately.
Translate a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and business materials.
Provide interpretation and translation from English into Spanish and vice versa.
Attend trainings scheduled by the Company.
Requirements:
Preferable professional or educational degree in; translation, interpretation, BA in Modern Languages or related fields.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a translator and/or interpreter (English/Spanish).
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Management and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power BI)
Excellent communication skills with the work team.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Multitasking, with the ability to combine multiple activities and work under pressure.
Highly detail oriented; review, control and verification of the required information provided with the written documentation; forms, testimonials, translations, etc. highly demanded with VERY LOW TOLERANCE TO MISTAKES.
High sense of confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
Knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage.
Must have an academic or post-secondary (technical or university) level of education.
Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
Skilled in virtual communications; Skype, MS Teams, WhatsApp, etc.
Willingness to receive feedback and continuous professional improvement.
Stable and high-speed internet connection.
