Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Current licensure in good standing
AHA BLS and ACLS required
Minimum one year of current CCU hospital experience
To Qualify, Referrals are candidates not in our database, assignments must be 13 weeks in length, and subsequent assignments must be within 30 days of the previous assignment to qualify
Benefits
Weekly Pay Range - $2088 To $2320
Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts; eligibility may vary subject to company policy and applicable law

Responsibilities
Nurse specialize in caring for patients with complex, serious illnesses or injuries that require close monitoring
Establish nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention evaluation
Reports to Supervisor of Unit
Provides nursing care to critically ill patients in the CCU
Documents nursing interventions and patient response according to hospital policy
Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and methods of implementation
Wound care and able to identify and stage various Venous/Stasis/Pressure ulcers
Supervises ancillary personnel in their performance of assigned job-related duties
Ensures patient confidentiality and the rights of the patient
Administer medications via PO, IM and Intravenously
Able to titrate Intravenous medications
Proficient in performing EKG and interpretation, identify Lethal Rhythms, monitor telemetry
Nutritional support, including enteral and parenteral nutritional management and monitoring of metabolic function Complex wound care, utilizing techniques to promote wound healing
Caring for the psychosocial needs of the critically ill patient and family

Summary
