As a Sales Officer within Cadence Bank Treasury Management, the individual's primary role will be to balance support of the Sales Officers in the team in terms of client related matters with a calling effort to existing bank clients throughout the bank footprint.

In addition, she / he is to support management related materials for the regional sales managers. The sales associate will split their focus between in-market sales support and remote calling sales efforts as defined by the department manager.

As a sales officer, this position provides good opportunity to learn about the sales organization, client behaviors and sales tactics / strategy, products and services (including cash management, liquidity and short-term investments as well as technology offerings) offered by Treasury Services as well as insight into the various markets / clients across the bank’s footprint.

To succeed, she / he will need to be business focused, have strong technology skills with Microsoft and Google products (Docs / Word, Sheets / Excel, Slides / PowerPoint) work closely with internal resources such as product, implementation, training and sales teams, as well as be able to perform well within a remote sales environment.

Objective #1

Sales Support Supporting the sales team with the following functions :
• Demo all existing treasury management products as well as any new technology rolled out by the product team
• Proforma preparation for new or existing clients
• Be engaged in supporting the entire sales and pipeline management process

Objective #2

Portfolio Development Identify targeted existing clients and execute the departmental remote sales strategy
• Call on existing portfolios through referrals from the Retail Branch Network, Relationship Managers, and Treasury Sales Officers
• Self-identify prospective development strategies through the use of analysis reporting, Product lists, and cross departmental reporting
• Participate in sales meetings and provide education to supported teams
