Position Summary
The Licensed HET/Apprentice is responsible for servicing and maintaining company equipment by using standard “Best Practices”, and providing guidance to apprentices. Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition. Additionally, will collaborate with the maintenance team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.

Schedule: Mon - Thu
What you will do
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and transport vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Monitor part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shop to ensure adequate working conditions.
What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing trucks and transport vehicles.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 3 Years expereince.
• Licensed Trucks and Transport Mechanic or 3rd-4th Year Apprentice
