Set schedule of Monday to Friday 6am - 2:30pm (approximately 40 hours) with exceptions on a as needed basis

What we are looking for:


Under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager, the Truck Driver/General Labourer will deliver to shipments to our stores for half of the day and then work in the DC for the remainder, receiving and shipping of products and any other duties that arise. Additionally, provide coverage to the other delivery driver during vacations, sick time and other leaves.

Other Duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Driving a portion of the day to support the Delivery Driver, and providing full coverage for vacation and sick time
Accurately pick, scan, pack & prepare for delivery orders for retail and mobile stores
Receive inbound merchandise, check for discrepancies and accurately separate special requests from the order
Move inbound stock to the appropriate staging area and place stock on shelves. Ensures area is always accessible and secure
Execute stock transfer requests initiated by retail & mobile stores
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Identify overstock for put away
Maintain internal record-keeping systems
Maintain storage area, rotate stock as required, replace and repair damaged packaging
Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure that their expectations are being met within the required timelines
Other assignments on an as needed basis
Qualifications:

Must be available to start work at 6am Monday to Friday
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Valid full G license with a clean driver's abstract
At least two years of experience driving a straight truck
Hydraulic lift gate experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, long periods of standing, lots of walking, bending, twisting, squatting and climbing on a ladder up to ten (10) feet in height
Flexibility to work different shift depending on the DC's requirements
Experience using equipment such as a dolly, pump trucks, tailgate lift, computer terminal, printer, calculator, photocopier, and fax machine is preferred
