A Legal Trust Accounts Clerk is pivotal to ensuring compliance within the firm's internal processes and procedures - Is this you?
Moss & Co have partnered with a leading Australian law firm on the recruitment of a Trust Accounts Clerk opportunity. You will work within a team of 10 within their Finance Team.
As a Trust Accounts Clerk, your responsibilities may include;
Receipting of funds received in trust to their correct trust ledgers
Payments via electronic funds transfer, cheque or international money transfers
Updating, monitoring, transacting and reconciling around circa 2000 controlled monies accounts in accordance with trust account legislation
Assisting in the management of the annual trust account audit
Reconciliation of daily cash received
Management of dormant balances in accordance with State Revenue Office requirements
Month end reporting in accordance with prescribed legislation
Daily reports as required

Tertiary education in Finance or Business is beneficial but not essential. Ideally you will have prior experience in Trust Accounting. This is a full time permanent opportunity, working at a Law firm in Melbourne CBD.
We're unable to consider remote workers for this position, due to the nature of the role. However, flexible working is considering with a hybrid work from home arrangement.
