Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred but not required.
Required Skills, Certificates, Licenses, Or Registrations
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.
Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty up to the standards of OSG.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies.
Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner.
Will arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform with any necessary equipment.
Will carry out general and special orders for assigned post.
Will communicate via radio, telephone and in-person, according to orders.
Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and assigned equipment.
Meet, greet, and interact professionally with clients and the general public.
Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
Must be comfortable turning away trespassers, loiterers, and transients (who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol) on the client's property from a safe distance away.

Unarmed Security Officer Job Description
Oatridge Security Group is looking for an Unarmed Security Officer to join its rapidly growing team. An ideal candidate will have a vehicle and must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for conducting patrols and static security at client sites. Officers may be required to have the ability to safely operate a vehicle, stand on their feet for long periods of time and work outside in the elements (weather). The Security Officer will work at an assigned site and may be required to challenge individuals to prevent unauthorized access to client sites. This position requires individuals that possess self-discipline, de-escalation skills, a good work ethic, and punctuality.
Unarmed Security Officers must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and be a team player. The Officer does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The work is performed outdoors and indoors.
