What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Provide a wide range of administrative assistance to the Division of Trauma and Injury Prevention and the Division of Chronic Disease, Primary Care and Rural Health
• Act as a liaison between administration, state agencies, and interested parties
• Prepare and process correspondence and reports for supervisors and other agency representatives
• Make out-of-state travel arrangements and input these into the State of Indiana PeopleSoft system
• Assist with special projects and coordinate clerical and administrative functions

What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, office management, or related fields
• General knowledge of office administrative functions, theories, and principles
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook)

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• College or certificate-level coursework in administrative assistant or secretarial studies
• Experience scheduling travel arrangements and managing calendars
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar state government applications
• Previous experience in a healthcare-related administrative role
