Job description
Job Title: Manager Sales

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Position Type: Full-Time

Main Objective:

The Manager Sales is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve the hotel’s revenue goals. This role involves managing relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a team to drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners.
- Respond to client inquiries and needs promptly and professionally.

3. Revenue Management:

- Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to optimize pricing strategies and inventory management.
- Monitor and analyse booking patterns to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

4. Sales Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and providing ongoing training.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.

5. Event Coordination:

- Collaborate with the Events and Catering teams to ensure seamless execution of group events and functions.
- Assist in planning and coordinating special events to attract potential clients.

6. Customer Service:

- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients to maintain satisfaction.

In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignment given on an occasional basis or daily basis by the immediate superior or the management will have to be carried out.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Sales Department in hospitality industry.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Management role.
