We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urologist Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Medico-Hub.

Overview:

The Urologist Consultant MCh is an essential role within our healthcare facility, tasked with providing expert urological care and advancing the field through clinical excellence and research. This position demands high-level surgical skills, effective communication with patients and their families, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients to determine the nature of urological issues.
• Perform urological surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
• Provide diagnosis and treatment plans for a variety of urological conditions.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with other specialists to provide integrative patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Advise patients on post-operative care and lifestyle adjustments.
• Evaluate laboratory and imaging tests results.
• Participate in surgical procedures related to urology.
• Educate patients and families about urological health issues and preventive measures.
• Conduct research to improve treatment methods and patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in urology through continuous education.
• Participate in medical conferences and workshops for professional development.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:
• MBBS Degree from a recognized institution.
• Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Urology or equivalent.
• State medical board certification in Urology.
• A Minimum of 5 years of experience in urology.
• Proven experience in surgical procedures.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Ability to manage complex urological cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to patient care and quality improvement.
• Ability to educate patients on conditions and treatment plans.
• Research experience in urology is a plus.
