JD : Finance Accountant (US Accounting)

Primary Responsibilities:

· General Accounting entries in QuickBooks.

· Ensure proper documentation and passing of necessary entries.

· Responsible for full cycle Accounts Receivable function including managing A/R Inbox and sending invoices and statements.

· General ledger activities include preparing A/R and A/P related journal entries.

· Reconcile key A/R accounts.

· Receive, researches and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate person.

· Responsibilities include reconciliation of bank balances and credit card transactions, processing of sales and purchases invoices, and recording ad hoc adjusting entries on a regular basis.

· Assists with the credit card process including gathering all receipts from cardholders timely to meet the month-end credit card journal entry deadline.

· Foreign Remittances - Ensures timely payments to consultants / vendors residing out of India.

· Prepare 15 CA / 15 CB Certification duly signed by the authorized signatory.

· Knowledge of Withholding Taxes and rates.

· Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IRS and IFRS accounting pronouncements.

· Managing Audits and assists auditors in the audit process by giving required data, resolving queries, preparing documents, etc.

· Validating Documents - Checks all documents from the regional offices to ensure that there are no errors.

· Process Adherence & Complies with company defined guidelines and processes.

· Adheres to project timelines and hands on process improvement.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate should have:

· Have experience of 3 to 4 years of business finance or other relevant experience.

· Have a master’s degree or higher or professional certifications in Finance/Internal Audit/Others applicable.

· Have knowledge of Finance, internal audit, accounting standards, AR & AP processing, regulatory compliances, and MIS reporting.

· Have analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and Stakeholder Management Skills.

· Have a great attention to detail and a robust work ethic.

· Have an in depth understanding of securities regulations, exchange laws, capital markets and financial instruments.

· Have hands on experience of month-end/year-end closing.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Team player, self-driven and ability to work independently as well as able to motivate team members.

· Mandatorily In-depth working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
