US IT Recruiter - ONSITE @ Chennai

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Responsible for handling IT requirements from US-based clients.
• Responsible for full-cycle recruiting: interview, offer, negotiation, and closed candidates for assigned requisitions.
• Sourcing from Job Portals (Monster, Dice, Career builder, Yahoo Hot Jobs),
• Curating job postings on the Job Portal.
• Well-versed in US Terms like W2, C2C, 10++, US Visas, etc.
• Responsible to work on Contract, Permanent & C2H (Contract to Hire) positions.
• Responsible for Coordinating fulfillment of other formalities such as background check, drug test, etc leading to joining post-placement.
• Responsible for achieving a good conversion ratio of submittals into interview and placement.
• Responsible for Strategy Development process which includes understanding client requirements & mapping the relevant targets.
• Must have the capability to work with a team or individually.
• Be a part of the team with Accelerated Hire Motto.
• Maintain close contact with candidates/vendors/recruiters/offshore team.
• Publish progress reports to management every week.
• Updated about technologies of the client requirements and knowledge of current IT trends.
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
• Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
• Perform reference checks as needed
• Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
• Manage onboarding and new hire process
• Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
• Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
• Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy
• Develop and update job descriptions
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc)
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc)
• Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)

Qualifications For Recruiter:
• Any graduation or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of US IT recruiting experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making skills
