Title: US Tax Reviewer (Work from Office only)
Location: Law Garden, Ahmedabad
Responsibilities
- Review tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations - individuals, pass-through entities, corporations, trusts and non-profit
- Review Federal and State tax returns and projections for more complex high net worth individual, partnership, corporation, trust, fiduciary, and gift tax returns
- Prepare and review non-resident and expatriate tax returns, have knowledge of forms 2555, 5471 & 5472, 1116, 1118, 8++2 & 8++3 etc.
- Ensure all client deliverables are timely and aligned with internal quality standards.
- Ability to oversee, train and coach other tax associates and interns on assignments and assess their performance.
- Respond to IRS/State tax notices
- Effectively communicate with CPA client firms and build strong relationships.
- Stay updated with changing tax laws to ensure compliance and optimization.
Qualifications
- CPA or EA preferred or equivalent experience/knowledge.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax review.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Multiple tax software experiences i.e CCH Axcess, ProSystem, UltraTax, GoSystem, ProConnect, ProSeries and Lacerte.
