Notice Period :15 to 30 days
Purpose of the Role:
This role exists to ensure that a well integrated Software set is delivered for a given Project as per the defined timeline and maturity, at different DR gate milestones of NPI Gen 4 process.
Major Responsbilities:
1 Prepare vehicle level Feature Maturity Plan based on project need and track the implementation
2 Work with the ECU owners on the FROP (Feature roll out plan) of every ECU and ensure the implementation
3 Prepare the Labcar Verification plan and track the implementation
4 Create and maintain the Software PMXU for the projects of a given platform
5 Prepare and track the Software Integration Tracker containing SW Release and Validation Plan for all ECUs in line with Project Milestones.
6 Coordinate with Internal as well as external stakeholders for Software deliveries as per NPI timeplan.
Internal stakeholders include PL, VMTL, Feature owner, ECU owner, Labcar, launch team, PE
External Stakeholders include Vehicle integration Team, Product Line, PAT( Performance attribute teams), Manufacturing,Technical Service, Customer Support, AQ
7 Track the Vehicle level calibration activity & Maturity
8 Do initial analysis of interface issues ( LV, HV-LV interfaces) of distributed functions at labcar / vehicle level / Mfg Plant and assign to the owners
+ Prepare a consolidated risk identification and mitigation plan for software
10 Maintian and Track the Software Critical Issues. Consolidate the validation feedback from other Test Agencies to Feature owner / ECU owner
11 Prepare the Software Build card of the Proto vehicles
12 Plan and ask for Vehicle availability for PAT verfication, crash, COC, Suppliers
13 Prepare and publish periodic SW Feature maturity reports to Stake holders
14 Generate vehicle level Software ESO Report
15 Ensure through TS the EOL tool release and validation as per the NPI gen 4 DR gate wise maturity plan. Genenerate issues report
16 Ensure through CS service Tool maturity Plan inline with Vehicle Milestones
17 Coordinate and resolve the tracking for software in Mfg plant for PO/PP/SOP + +0 days(TBD) 18 Assess the implications on Software integration of the VAVE ideas
Skills Required
1 Strong knowledge of Automotive ECU development and Software development Life cycle (SDLC) process
2 Experience in E&E Architecture design, E&E Feature development, function partitioning, Inter ECU interaction.
3 Troubleshooting and analysis of functional/System Level defects
4 Knowledge on communication protocols like LIN, CAN, CAN-FD, Flexray and Ethernet.
5 Knowledge on AUTOSAR, ASpice process and international standards related to Communication and Diagnostic protocols.
6 Strong knowledge on ECU Hardware and Software Architecture
7 Familiar with Cyber Security and Functional Safety related requirements in Architecture and related standards & processes.
8 Awareness of vehicle schematic design tools and Wire harness tools [e.g. Mentor Graphics]
+ Good knowledge of regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, ECE, TS 16+4+
10 Excellent skill in Project management, communication, Co-ordination, Tracking, Escalation and Conflict resolution.
Qualifications
Graduate / Post graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
