Kennedy Heights Animal & Bird Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our friendly and skilled team. We are a busy, progressive practice with a strong focus on high-quality patient care for both companion animals and exotic pets, including birds.

What You’ll Do:

Assist veterinarians and RVTs in exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
Restrain and comfort animals during exams and procedures
Clean and maintain exam rooms, surgical suites, and equipment
Monitor hospitalized patients and ensure their comfort and safety
Communicate with clients in a kind and professional manner
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with inventory
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a veterinary assistant (preferred)
Strong animal-handling skills and a love for animals of all kinds
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
