We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented VFX Shoot Coordinator to join our creative. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between on-set production and the post-production VFX pipeline. You’ll be responsible for coordinating live-action shoots that involve VFX, ensuring seamless communication between directors, DoPs, VFX supervisors, production teams, and post teams.


Act as the point of contact between the shoot crew and the VFX department.

Attend pre-production meetings and help plan technical VFX requirements.

Coordinate the logistics for VFX-related elements on shoot days – green screens, tracking markers, ceiling extention, window croma, cleanup shoots, etc.

Ensure proper data capture on set – camera data, lens info, lighting references, HDRIs, grey/white balls, etc.

Maintain shoot reports, reference imagery, and daily production notes.

Track VFX assets and plates captured on set for seamless delivery to post-production.

Work closely with the VFX Supervisor to anticipate potential issues and maintain efficiency.

Ensure on-set compliance with VFX needs (e.g., continuity, clean plates, motion control, etc.).

Manage shoot schedules and call sheets specific to VFX tasks.

Essential Skills:

2+ years of experience in a VFX coordination or production coordination role.

Familiarity with VFX production pipelines and on-set protocols.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in production tracking tools and software (ShotGrid, ftrack, or similar is a plus).

Basic understanding of cameras, lenses, and technical on-set equipment.

A calm problem-solver with the ability to think on their feet during shoots.
