Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the company’s vision and engages our target audience. You will be working closely with our creative team to produce high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit video content, including raw footage, graphics, and sound, to create compelling stories.
• Collaborate with creative directors, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure the final product aligns with project goals.
• Trim and edit footage segments, add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as necessary.
• Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions between video segments.
• Apply color grading and ensure proper video lighting as needed.
• Export, compress, and upload videos in the necessary formats for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, websites).
• Stay updated on the latest editing technologies and techniques to improve video quality and efficiency.
• Manage and organize media assets and archives.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
• Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your video editing work.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Digital Media, or related field.
• Experience working with a creative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with color grading software and audio editing tools.
