Video Editor Job Description
We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team in Valasaravakkam. You will collaborate with content creators and marketing professionals to produce high-quality videos for our YouTube channel (yt/madraschilli) and social media.
At MadrasChilli, you will turn recorded footage into finished projects that match our vision. You'll create engaging content for websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into engaging and visually appealing videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
Apply special effects, transitions, and animations to enhance video quality.
Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring they look great on both desktop and mobile devices.
Maintain consistency in branding, style, and tone across all video content.
Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a professional video editor.
Proficiency in any one video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with YouTube and social media platforms.
A portfolio showcasing your best video editing work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Degree related to media, cinematography, or related field is a plus.
