We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our Studio department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in video editing software. As a Video Editor at Story Digital, you will collaborate with our creative team to bring concepts to life through captivating visuals and engaging narratives.
Responsibilities
• Edit video footage to create dynamic and visually appealing content for various advertising campaigns, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
• Collaborate closely with our creative team to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Ensure consistency and continuity in visual style, branding, and messaging across all video content.
• Incorporate feedback from clients, creative directors, and other stakeholders to refine and enhance video projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing and production.
• Manage and organize video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and sound files.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative vision.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Suits, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video codecs, file formats, compression techniques, and video delivery platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is a plus.
• Experience in sound design and audio editing would be beneficial.
