Roles and Responsibilities:
• Edit video footage, including raw footage, interviews, and other elements, to create a cohesive and engaging story. This involves cutting, trimming, sequencing, and arranging clips to maintain the narrative flow.
• Enhance video quality and visual appeal by adding special effects, transitions, graphics, text overlays, and other elements. Adjust colors, contrast, and brightness to achieve the desired look.
• Sync audio tracks, remove unwanted noise, and add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to improve the overall audio quality and enhance the viewer's experience.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's objectives, creative vision, and requirements. Act on feedback and make necessary revisions.
• Organize and manage video and audio files, ensuring they are easily accessible and backed up for future use.
• Be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or other relevant editing tools.
• Understand video codecs, formats, frame rates, and resolution to ensure compatibility and optimize video quality for different platforms.
• Review storyboards and scripts to understand the desired sequence and timing of video clips.
• Ensure the final video product is error-free, including checking for glitches, continuity issues, and overall visual and audio quality.
• Bring creative ideas to the table to enhance the storytelling and visual elements of the video.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Proven experience as a video editor, including a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software and tools.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and technologies.
• Animation and motion graphics skills.
• Color correction and grading expertise.
• Knowledge of audio editing software.
• Experience with compositing and visual effects.
