Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team and contribute to our content creation efforts. As a Video Editor, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality video content, including match highlights, player profiles, social media videos, and promotional content for tournaments. You’ll work closely with our marketing, content, and production teams to deliver engaging visual stories that represent the Decoding Youth Talent brand.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and assemble recorded footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, YFTChain).
• Create dynamic highlight reels from match footage, player interviews, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and social media teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions to enhance the viewer experience.
• Ensure all videos are edited within deadlines while maintaining high production quality.
• Optimize videos for various platforms and formats, including social media, web, and mobile.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve content quality.
• Handle basic motion graphics and animation when necessary to improve visual storytelling.
• Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, ideally in sports, digital content, or social media.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Experience in creating highlight videos, short-form content, and promotional materials.
• Strong understanding of social media video formats, especially Instagram and YouTube.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects (Adobe After Effects or similar software is a plus).
• Creative mindset with strong storytelling and editing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Passion for sports, particularly football, is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field.
• Experience working with sports-related content or a similar fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms and live broadcasting tools.
