Volunteer - Soccer Experience Leader
Volunteering overview:
Join us as a Soccer Experience Leader for Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol! In this exciting role, you will lead and oversee all soccer-related activities and events in Vancouver for FIFA 2026. You will integrate creative ideas and develop engaging soccer activations during our festival, bringing the community together through the love of the game.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of soccer experiences related to FIFA 2026 at Carnaval del Sol.
Oversee soccer activations, ensuring they are engaging, fun, and inclusive for all ages.
Collaborate with local soccer clubs, organizations, and community groups to enhance event offerings.
Integrate creative ideas and activities that celebrate soccer culture and community spirit.
Coordinate schedules, resources, and logistics for soccer-related events.
Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages participation and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for soccer and knowledge of FIFA events.
Experience in event planning or community engagement, particularly in sports.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
Duration: May 01 - July 31 / 15 - 20 hours per week
