JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Group Vice President of Human Resources Business Partner at DP World Group Technology, India, your multifaceted role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities critical to the success of our organization:
Strategic Alignment: Act as a strategic liaison between HR and the technology leadership team, ensuring that HR strategies are closely aligned with the company's business objectives.
2. Collaborative Partnership: Foster strong relationships with technology leaders, understanding their needs, challenges, and goals, and translating them into HR initiatives that drive organizational success.
3. Communication Facilitation : Ensure effective communication between HR and technology teams, facilitating the smooth flow of relevant information and understanding between both sides.
4. Culture and Innovation Advocacy: Promote a culture of innovation within the technology sector, advocating for initiatives that foster creativity, collaboration, and the adoption of new technologies
5 . Change Enablement: Support the technology leadership team in managing organizational change, providing HR insights and resources to facilitate smooth transitions.
6. Policy Alignment: Ensure HR policies and practices align with the unique needs and dynamics of the technology sector, while also adhering to company-wide standards and regulations.
7. Performance Management Support: Provide guidance and support to technology leaders in performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and talent development plans
8. Employee Engagement: Collaborate with technology leadership to develop strategies for enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction within the technology department.
+. HR Policy Implementation : Ensure consistent and fair implementation of HR policies and procedures within the technology sector, addressing specific needs or concerns as they arise.
10. Conflict Resolution: Serve as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disputes within the technology team, leveraging HR expertise to facilitate constructive dialogue and resolution.
11. Leadership Development: Identify leadership development needs within the technology sector and partner with HR colleagues to design and deliver programs that enhance leadership capabilities and succession planning.
12. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR analytics and data to provide insights and recommendations to technology leaders, enabling data-driven decision-making in areas such as workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
13. Collaboration with other HR sections: Work closely with other HR sections, such as talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning development, to ensure that employees’ needs are effectively addressed and integrated into overall HR strategies and initiatives.
13. Diversity, equity and inclusion champion: Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization, ensuring that all employees are treated with respect and fairness regardless of their background or identity.
In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, driving innovation, and ensuring the success of DP World Group Technology in India.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in HR leadership roles with at least 3-5 years of experience in a strategic HR business partner role with a focus on digital technology and transformation.
Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, coupled with a passion for leveraging technology to drive organizational change.
Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing HR technology solutions and driving digital innovation initiatives.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a global workforce is a plus.

Language skills:
Proficiency in English
Proficiency in one or more regional languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada etc, can be highly beneficial.
Ability to navigate cultural nuances effectively in the diverse landscape of India.
